- Assistant Professor of Experimental High-Energy Physics
Description
The Department of Physics, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor with research interests in experimental high-energy physics and/or experimental particle astrophysics. Candidates with research experience in these areas or related fields are encouraged to apply, especially those whose research interests complement the CSU program in high-energy physics and particle astrophysics.

A professional CV. - A statement of teaching experience and interests (2 page limit).
- A statement of research experience and interests (3 page limit).

Requirements
Required Job Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in physics or a related field. Applicants must also have research experience in experimental high-energy physics, experimental particle astrophysics, or a field closely related to one of these two research areas.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
1. Postdoctoral and/or substantial experience beyond the Ph.D. is expected. Candidates should have an excellent record of research that includes significant publications in refereed journals. Evidence of initiative and leadership in physics research.
2. Ability to develop an internationally recognized research program that complements existing programs in the CSU Department of Physics and provides compelling opportunities for students.
3. Potential to contribute to teaching/mentoring/advising undergraduate and graduate students in the CSU Department of Physics, including evidence of good communication skills.
