Company Profile
Bay Area RaMP Program in Microbiome Sciences
Company Overview
The Bay Area RaMP Program in Microbiome Sciences exists to increase potential for scientific advances by training towards an inclusive and diverse workforce in microbiome research. Our program trains post-baccalaureates who were unable to gain meaningful research experience during their undergraduate careers and develops mentors in inclusive practices of leadership and support.
We are an NSF-funded Research and Mentoring for Post-Baccalaureates (RaMP) project that began in 2023 led by PIs at UC Berkeley. Our network of labs span five institutions across the San Francisco Bay Area: UC Berkeley, UCSF, San Francisco State University, CSU East Bay and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
