Clayton State University is located in a beautiful lakeside setting fifteen minutes southeast of downtown Atlanta. The University currently offers nine master's degree programs and 39 baccalaureate degree programs, with an enrollment of nearly 7000 students. The University is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as having the most diverse student population among comprehensive baccalaureate-level colleges and universities in the Southern United States. The University has been named one of the "Top 100 Workplaces in Atlanta" by the Atlanta Journal Constitution for six consecutive years. Clayton State is adjacent to the Georgia Archives and the National Archives at Atlanta.
