Wild Animal Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to understand and improve the lives of wild animals.
We support the study of wild animal welfare by conducting original research, fostering connections between academics from diverse disciplines, and securing funding for promising projects.
Company History
Wild Animal Initiative was established in 2019. We are committed to transparency, equity, and scientific rigor in pursuit of solutions to the challenges faced by animals living in the wild.
In 2020, we were awarded Top Charity status by Animal Charity Evaluators, an honor reserved for the most effective nonprofits dedicated to improving animal welfare.
